So.. it's back to school time for those heading off to instictutions of higher learning. But apparently if you go to a highly snooty school such as Middlebury you're too good to go at the same time as all the common folk. And so as Jess headed off to Wells last week; Katie, Ryan, Myles, Taylor, Allison, well pretty much almost everybody in the known universe left today and Leah is destined to ride off into the sunset early next week i am poking about trying to find ways to amuse myself
So far in vain attempts to amuse myself i've checked my e-mail repetitively, stayed up till 4 am watching movies i'd already seen (just because i could), then proceeded find comfort in food because my mom insisted she take me to "tea" as she called it. Although we ended up eating ice cream. which isn't tea (just in case you were confused).
After "tea" i rented two different versions of emma, one of which was a 4 hour 70's version with emma being played by a rather homely stick bug. This is quite sad as emma is supposed to be a main love interest. I wasn't about to wait four hours to see the relationship between (careful spoiler) Mr. Knightly and herself rise to the soaring heights of blushing. So in my first self-respecting act of the day i actually switched it off.
Some people say getting a summer job will teach you to value education. I now, after finishing my summer job, have realised that having to much free time on your hands will ultimately result in the realization that i don't want to become a deranged loony writing blogs about bad Jane Austen adaptations.

Yes, that is how you spell cookoo. I know it just looks funny.
I'm sorry you're all alone there. But at least look at it this way: there you are still the smartest person around and no one has given better graduation speaches than you, and look at you funny where you say you went to a school with no walls and that you are from the bottom of Vermont- both geographically and morally.
Yeah- get used to the funny looks. But also bring as many cool movies as you can and they'll love you and realize your wonderful greatness like we already do!
see ya ^_^ Jess
