4 more days at home
It's getting to be crunch time. I'm excited and scared and thrilled and well.. down right giddy. i've got most everything packed, which might be slightly pre-emptive as i suppose i'm going to need to wear something. or not, maybe i've just stumbled on a way to amuse myself for the next four days. oddly what i'm really looking foreward to is being back in class. But my nervous side seeks advice... any tips for surviving orientation, being cool, what to bring, what not to eat-- would all be apprectiated immensly. please write!!

Hi Laurel,
I actually know you! Yay! Tips for surviving orientation: 1. Find a "friend" your first day- or at least one person to hang out with. 2. Eat the caffeteria food sparingly- at first it's like- cool I can take as much food as I want without doing dishes- but so not right (it goes right to the places that you collect fat- me... hmmm, can you guess where?). 3. Never get behind in the work (Bob Hewitt gave me this advice, I haven't experienced it myself) and try to do all homework (or most of it) the day you get it. And finally 4. The Weekends are a GODSEND!
Love ya bunches, Love ya tons, Love ya oodles,

the weekends are a godsend because otherwise you have so much to do, check my blog and see what has been happening to me it will give you some tips.
you definatly want some drinks and food for your room, a book light helps too for those late night study sessions. and make friends with your neighbors they are probably the funniest people you will ever meet. (or at least mine is)
miss you lots
